We're a small, profitable team running a real business: a store, a warehouse, a 3D printing service, and the software behind all of it. Nobody here manages managers.
You won't own a slice of a process. You'll own the whole thing. Purchasing owns purchasing, sales writes its own playbook, and your decisions show up in the numbers.
The products you buy, list, and ship end up in student robots, startup prototypes, and weekend inventions. Not many jobs let you point at a thing and say "we made that possible."
We build our own admin software for purchasing, catalog, and support. If a tool slows you down, we fix the tool. Complaints from the team regularly become next week's feature.
A decade in, profitable, and still expanding into new categories, 3D printing, and B2B. Growth here means your role gets bigger, not replaced.
The honest version, told before you apply instead of after you join.
We work out of Mulund West, Mumbai, where the office, the warehouse, and the 3D printers all live. Most roles are on-site because the business is physical. A few flex hybrid.
No approval chains. If a vendor needs an answer or a customer needs a fix, the person who owns it decides. You'll talk to the founders every week, not once a quarter.
You don't need an engineering degree, but curiosity is non-negotiable. People here print things, solder things, and argue about which microcontroller is best. You'll fit in.
Every role is based in Mumbai unless noted otherwise. Click through for responsibilities, requirements, and how to apply.
Purchasing
Own vendor relationships and purchase orders for thousands of SKUs, and keep Raspberry Pi boards, Bambu Lab filament, and everything else in stock without overbuying.
Merchandising
Make every product page worth reading. Write listings, curate collections, and price the catalog so makers find exactly what their project needs.
Supply Chain
Run the engine room: inbound imports, warehouse operations, and same-day dispatch to 500+ cities. You make the 24-hour dispatch promise true every day.
Sales
Build our institutional business from the ground up: engineering colleges, ATL labs, makerspaces, R&D teams, and startups buying components and 3D printing at scale.
Customer Experience
Be the human behind our WhatsApp, email, and chat. Help makers pick the right parts, chase down their orders, and turn problems into loyalty.
Great people don't always match open listings. If you think Thingbits needs you, make the case. We read every application ourselves.
Write to [email protected]Four steps, no ghosting. Most candidates go from application to answer within two weeks.
Email us your resume and a few honest lines on why this role. No cover-letter essays required.
A call with the person you'd actually work with, about your experience, our plans, and whether it clicks.
A short exercise from the job itself: negotiate a mock PO, fix a product page, or quote a bulk order. Paid if it takes real time.
A clear offer with clear numbers, usually within days of the final round. You get a yes or a no either way. We don't leave people hanging.
We've spent ten years helping India's makers build, and the best parts are still ahead. Pick a role, or make your own pitch.
