Overview
Adafruit SPA06-003 Temperature & Pressure Sensor Breakout is a low-cost barometric pressure and temperature sensing board built around the Goertek SPA06-003. It is a practical choice for basic environmental monitoring, weather-related projects, and DIY quadcopter builds where affordability matters.
The sensor measures pressure from 300 to 1100 hPa, covering approximately -500 m to +9000 m from sea level. It offers typical relative pressure accuracy of ±3 Pa, absolute pressure accuracy of ±30 Pa, and temperature accuracy of ±1°C.
The breakout includes an onboard 3.3V regulator and level shifting, so it can be used safely with both 3V and 5V microcontrollers or single-board computers. Its STEMMA QT connectors make I2C hookup fast and solderless, and they are also compatible with SparkFun Qwiic ecosystems. QT cable is not included.
