Sense HAT (C) for Raspberry Pi

Overview

The Sense HAT (C) for Raspberry Pi is a multi sensor expansion board that adds a wide range of sensors and features to Raspberry Pi. It includes an onboard 3-axis accelerometer with a 16-bit resolution and configurable measurement range from ±2 to ±16 g. The gyroscope, also with a 16-bit resolution, has a configurable measurement range from ±16 to ±2048°/sec, while the magnetometer offers a 16-bit resolution with a configurable measurement range of ±4912 µT.

For environmental monitoring, the HAT features a barometric pressure sensor with 24-bit pressure data and 16-bit temperature data, offering an accuracy of ±0.025 hPa and a measuring range from 260 to 1260 hPa. The temperature and humidity sensor provides an accuracy of ±2% rH for humidity, with a measuring range of 0% to 100% rH, and an accuracy of ±0.2°C for temperature, with a measuring range of -30°C to 100°C.

The Waveshare Sense HAT (C) also includes a color sensor with 4-channel RGBC resolution, offering 16 bits per channel, and an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with 4 channels and 16-bit resolution. It communicates via the I2C interface and operates at 3.3V. The dimensions of the HAT are 65 x 30.5 mm, making it compact yet powerful for a wide range of applications such as robotics, environmental monitoring, and IoT projects.
