Overview
Right-Angle Mini GSM/Cellular Quad-Band Antenna - 2dBi SMA Plug is a small external antenna designed for cellular and GSM/GPRS applications across 850/900/1800/1900/2100MHz. With 2 dBi gain, 50Ω impedance, and vertical polarization, it is suited for wireless receiver and transmitter projects that need a simple SMA-connected antenna.
The right-angle SMA male connector helps keep the antenna profile tidy in compact enclosures and embedded builds. At just 57mm long and weighing 8g, it is a practical choice for modems, development boards, and cellular modules that support an external SMA antenna connection.
This antenna is also noted as a compatible external antenna option for Adafruit FONA MiniGSM boards. If your hardware uses RP-SMA or u.FL instead of SMA, an adapter is required. Please note that FONA modules require a microcontroller to operate.
