Overview
The Teensy 4.1 is an ultra-high-performance microcontroller development board built around the powerful 600 MHz ARM Cortex-M7 processor, making it one of the fastest Arduino-compatible boards available today. With large memory, Ethernet capability, USB host support, and a microSD interface, it is designed for demanding embedded applications such as robotics, audio processing, IoT gateways, and industrial control systems.
With 1 MB RAM, 8 MB flash memory, high-speed peripherals, and optional Ethernet support, it provides significantly more processing power and connectivity than typical Arduino-class boards.
Despite its performance, the board remains easy to use thanks to full Arduino IDE compatibility through Teensyduino, allowing developers to rapidly prototype projects while benefiting from advanced hardware capabilities.
The board exposes 55 digital I/O pins, multiple SPI and serial interfaces, CAN bus support, I2S digital audio, USB host functionality, and a native SDIO interface for high-speed microSD storage, making it perfect for complex embedded systems requiring fast data processing and extensive peripheral connectivity.
