Overview
Measure temperature and humidity with high precision using the genuine Sensirion SHTC3 sensor, offering ±2% RH and ±0.2 °C typical accuracy. Designed for reliable environmental monitoring, this breakout features a true I²C interface (0x70) for simple two-wire integration with microcontrollers and SBCs.
Unlike older SHT series sensors that used custom communication protocols, the SHTC3 provides a standard I²C interface, making firmware development straightforward and clean. It’s ideal for IoT devices, weather stations, indoor air quality monitoring, HVAC systems, smart agriculture, and battery-powered sensor nodes.
To simplify integration, the board includes an onboard 3.3V regulator and level shifting circuitry, allowing safe use with both 3V and 5V systems. Built-in I²C pull-up resistors and decoupling capacitors ensure stable communication and accurate readings.
For solder-free connections, the breakout includes dual STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors, enabling quick plug-and-play wiring. Prefer breadboarding? Standard 0.1" header pads are provided, and a header strip is included for easy soldering.
